What shackle sizes does the PL Series padlock come in?

What makes the PL padlock's shackle resistant to bolt cutters?

The standard PL shackle is molybdenum-alloy construction, chosen specifically for bolt-cutter resistance. A stainless steel shackle is available by special order for corrosion-prone outdoor settings, and a frangible (breakaway) shackle is offered only on the PL1-B model for applications requiring a designed weak point.

Can the PL padlock be keyed to match my PDQ door locks?

Yes, the PL Series accepts 6 or 7-pin small-format interchangeable cores (SFIC), so it can be keyed into the same core-based master key system already used on PDQ mortise and cylindrical locks rather than carrying a separate key.

What security features does the PL padlock use to resist picking or prying?
