What's the difference between SV and SX, PDQ's other ball-knob lock?
SV is Grade 2 certified while SX is Grade 1; both use a round knob rather than a lever, but SV is the lower-traffic, lower-cost option for buildings that don't need Grade 1 durability, sharing SX's retrofit-friendly door prep approach.
Is the SV knob lock ADA compliant?
No, its round ball-knob design doesn't meet ADA/ICC A117.1 operable-parts requirements for hardware usable without tight grasping or twisting, so it should be limited to applications where knob hardware is code-permitted.
How many functions does the SV lock come in?
