        What type of door lock is best for a hotel guest room?

        Most hotel guest room doors use a Grade 1 mortise or cylindrical lock certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.13 or A156.2, paired with a keycard, mobile-key (BLE/NFC), or PIN credential. Grade 1 is the highest ANSI/BHMA operational and security rating and is what most major hotel brand standards require for guest room entry doors.
